Kravtsov said that the quality of unified history textbooks will be checked by teachers from the regions
Moscow, October 14, FederalPress. Employees will check the quality of history textbooks for students in grades 5-9. This was announced by Russian Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov at an all-Russian meeting with heads of regional education, university rectors and heads of federal centers of the Ministry of Education.
The meeting, which took place in Moscow, was attended by 89 regional education ministers and 35 deputy governors for social policy. The event was attended by presidential adviser Vladimir Medinsky, head of the department of public projects of the Russian president Sergei Novikov, Metropolitan Tikhon of Simferopol and Crimea, representative of Rosobrnadzor Anzor Muzaev and Deputy Mayor of Moscow Anastasia Rakova.
One of the main topics of the meeting was the issue of creating a history textbook for the association. The head of education reported that the ministry is working with Medinsky to create such textbooks.
Russian teachers can check the quality of the textbooks and leave feedback to the authors. The wholesale price of such a textbook, including delivery to the regional center, was about 209 rubles.
Kravtsov also noted the importance of educational work with students. Today, various career guidance events, extracurricular activities "Dialogue on the Main Thing", programs in the field of patriotic education are being implemented in Russian educational institutions, and young people are given the opportunity to participate in the "First Movement".
