Increase in prices for butter, milk and bread recorded in Krasnodar

Since the beginning of the year, prices for butter and Borodino bread have increased by almost a third.

The Department of Consumer Affairs of Krasnodar Krai assessed how prices for these products in large retail chains of the Kuban capital have changed over the year. According to the press service of the regional department, the cost of drinking milk has increased by 6.9%, bread made from first-grade flour - by 15.8%, Borodinsky bread - by 31.6%, butter - by 32%.

To find out the reason for the increase in prices for products, department employees sent inquiries to representatives of retail chains and the local department of agriculture.

- The TV company reported that the main reason for the price increase is the rise in producer prices. The regional Department of Agriculture associates this with an increase in the cost of production related to seasonality, an increase in the costs of enterprises for energy, equipment and spare parts, as well as an increase in labor costs and crop production. Including feed and livestock, the official statement says. - Let me remind you that in order to curb the rise in prices in Krasnodar Krai, there is a decree of the Governor defining the list of socially significant essential goods. It consists of 23 items, and it is recommended to set a markup of 10% or less.

The Department for Work with Consumers of Krasnodar Krai reported a reduction in prices for vegetables and greens in large retail chains and wholesale enterprises in early October. Thus, the price of onions fell from 9% to 18%, carrots from 7% to 16% and white cabbage from 5% to 12%.
