Farmers are also demanding higher wages for their workers, which also affects production costs.
Unfortunately, the situation is not expected to improve in the near future. Economists warn that the population should prepare for a significant increase in prices for dairy products by the end of the year. In his opinion, the largest price increase may coincide with the Lunar New Year holiday.
Also, by the end of this year, the price of black tea in bags may increase by 7-10%. This forecast was given by Evgeniya Zhukova, an expert in economics and marketing at Synergy University.
As for red caviar, the price of this delicacy continues to rise. Since August, the price of 1 kg of caviar has increased by almost 2,000 rubles. According to economist and associate professor at the Russian State Social and Technical University Inna Litvinenko, prices could reach 9 thousand rubles per kilogram by the New Year holidays, but now they fluctuate between 6.5 and 8 thousand rubles.
