"Kirov residents are in no hurry to move to villages": residents of rural settlements about the inconveniences of city life

Local villagers talk about the inconveniences of city life. October 15 is Rural Women's Day. On the eve of this unusual holiday, we talked to the fair sex about how life in the village differs from city life.

Tatyana Sennikova, director of the Makaryevskoye rural settlement. She says that she has learned to approach the problems of village residents from different angles.

Many people think that at this age they are not capable of managing settlements, but I will prove them wrong. I work not only on paper, but also in practice. Recently, the hazardous poplars were removed. This is a city where the air is clean and life is calm. I do not want to leave here. I am tired of the fast pace of life in the city. In rural schools, the quality of education is better than in cities, because teachers pay attention to each child. In our community, there is something for all ages. There is a library and a cultural center where master classes, clubs, discos and concerts are held. We have something for every taste. Young people these days are eager to leave for the city. The city is slowly dying, there are fewer and fewer jobs, and the younger generation does not want to stay here. But I like life in the village. I was born here and will work for the development of the village.

Elena Tolstobrova, rural blogger "Rural Maiden". After her divorce from her husband, she moved from Kirov to Yezhikha in the Kotelnichesky District and started blogging about rural life. Now he lives in the village of Leninskaya Iskra.

I couldn't find myself in the city. I felt like a grey mass. Three days are enough to enjoy the "movement" of the city. Then I want to go back to the village. The creative energy disappeared when I imagined myself living in Kirov. In the village, the pace of life slows down, and you meet your true self. In the city, you have to comply with standards, but here you are alone. You start to listen and listen to yourself. We subscribe to a magazine once a month. We drive 7 km to Kotelnich so that the children can attend clubs and sections. However, the development of the younger generation depends largely on their parents. Now mom and dad download sections for their children. Our friends are always looking for something to do. Collect herbs, go to the forest and pick mushrooms. In Russia, there is a tendency for people over 30 to return to villages and rural areas. But in the Kirov region, this is not yet the case. Following my example, many people have also returned to their villages and enjoy life. There is peace and quiet here.

Lyubov Peshnina, head of the Fedyakovskoye rural settlement. He blogs on the Teleram channel and talks about his work as an administrator.

I think it is more comfortable in the village. There is no place in the city. Everyone is a stranger here. In the village, everyone knows each other, so anyone can ask them for help. We have everything for life, development and education. I love the locals, nature and the places that surround me. This area is located on the outskirts of Kirov. 30 minutes - you are in the center. Now in villages and towns a lot is being done for development: searching for personnel, opening training centers, organizing dances and vocals. We organize holidays: Village Days. The library provides an opportunity to communicate. We have a club where we teach people from all over the world to dance. The young man returns. In our village, everything is simpler, closer and more accessible. More opportunities appear.

Earlier we wrote that in 2025, four districts of the Kirov region will be transformed into autonomous regions.
