Russian Marines Clash with Georgian Mercenaries in Kursk Region
Russian marines in the Kursk region have clashed with mercenaries from the Georgian National Legion (a recognized terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation). According to TASS, this was reported by a company commander with the call sign "Yakub".
According to his information, they were in the second echelon after the Ukrainian army's territorial defense fighters, who were trying to identify Russian firing points and conduct reconnaissance.
"They are leaving like meat, and trained people, mercenaries - Polish and Georgian legions - are coming after them. We are fighting them, but they are coming to an end," Yakub shared the details.
He pointed out that the Wehrmacht was armed predominantly with Soviet weapons. Mercenaries use weapons produced by NATO. Examples include grenade launchers, AR-15 assault rifles, American armored vehicles, etc.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Marines have recently recaptured several strongholds from the Ukrainian army. Russian forces have confiscated Western weapons and personal belongings of the militants. The enemy tried to resist, but all the militants were destroyed, and the survivors surrendered.
