Kazakhstan National Guard Begins Patrolling Talgar After Teenager's Murder

The National Guard of Kazakhstan has begun patrolling the streets of Talgar after the brutal murder of a teenage boy and an attempt on his family, the Kazinform agency reported, citing the agency's press service.

Let us recall that on October 4, a 16-year-old boy was attacked by unknown assailants while he was defending his father, a shop owner. A group of men tried to steal beer, but the daredevil did not let them leave without paying. Then the criminals called their friends with guns and knives and brutally beat the child. And on October 12, someone set fire to the house of the deceased family. Fortunately, there was no one inside. A total of seven suspects have been arrested in this case.

"The measures taken are aimed at ensuring security and maintaining public order. We ask citizens to treat the incident with understanding," the National Guard press service added.
