Stanislav Shedenkov is a former deputy governor of the Tula region and an honorary citizen of Novomoskovsk. Shedenkov was born on September 4, 1951 in the village of Podlesny in the Tula region to a miner's family. After serving in the army, he received an education at the Moscow Chemical-Technological Institute. D. Mendeleyev. The next step in Shedenkov's career was the management of the Novomoskovsk water supply and sewerage production department, where he spent 10 years.

Under his leadership, important projects were implemented in the city, including the construction of residential buildings for disabled people who participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident, the reconstruction of the Khimik stadium, and the gasification of the district.
In April 1996, Shedenkov was appointed First Deputy Governor of the Tula Region. Since 1998, he has held various positions in Moscow, including Chairman of the Union of Russian Cities and Deputy Director of the South-Eastern Administrative District.
For his exploits, Shedenkov received numerous awards, including the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 2nd class, the Veteran of Labor medal, and the title of Honored Worker of Housing and Public Utilities of the Russian Federation. In 2016, he was awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Novomoskovsk.
Yesterday, November 4, at the age of 74, Shedenkov died in a fire at his dacha. Careless handling of the fireplace led to a short circuit and the fire. An acquaintance of Shedenkov was at home at the time of the fire and was evacuated.
