Parents with many children from St. Petersburg will be able to undergo professional retraining for free
Today, November 6, the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg approved in the first reading a federal plan for free professional retraining of parents with many children. The authors of the document proposed to allocate budget funds to Russian regions for professional training, advanced training and retraining of this category of citizens. This was reported by the press service of the Mariinsky Palace.
- Today we live in an era of constant technological updates, so the relevance of competencies is of constant interest even to working specialists. It is necessary to provide career growth opportunities to those who decide to become parents of many children. Therefore, I consider this idea timely," the chairman of the city council, Alexander Belsky, commented on the plan earlier.
By the way, in December last year, the Legislative Council of St. Petersburg adopted an important law in this area. Legislators approved the use of local maternity capital funds for professional training or retraining.
Let me remind you that the previous legislators approved a document on support for all young mothers and fathers of the northern capital. They were allowed to spend local maternity capital on the construction and major repairs of townhouses.
