Medvedev says Trump is unwilling to spend money on "toxic Ukraine"
In his Telegram channel, he assured that Trump, being a businessman, does not like to spend money on such projects.
Medvedev also noted that, in his opinion, Trump is avoiding spending on “hangers-on and hangers-on,” including “toxic Bandera Ukraine.”
He also mentioned the anti-Russia consensus on Capitol Hill, but stressed that Trump has traits that are useful to Russia: an unwillingness to share in international costs.
The vice president noted that recent elections and other events in the United States have increased anti-Russian sentiment, but that Trump's possible return could change the approach to international financial support.
In conclusion, he added that Trump's policies could become a factor in changing relations with Russia.
Florian Philippot, leader of the French Patriots Party, said that the European Union will not be able to continue supporting Ukraine if Donald Trump wins the election, Vzglyad newspaper reports.
