"How to force workers?": Governor orders garbage removal in Murmansk at night
The proposal of Murmansk Region Governor Andrey Chibis to remove garbage at night during the period of traffic closure on the bridge across the Kola Bay has not yet been implemented due to difficulties with the personnel policy of the regional operator Citymatic. Nord-News was told about the situation.
"The departments are already understaffed. "It is unrealistic to make people work at night." At the same time, there are other problems preventing demolition, in particular, the cleaning of the yard by the management company. Many tanks cannot be reached either in the morning or even at night," the agency's source said.
Earlier, crossing operators reported that garbage removal in Murmansk could be delayed. One of the reasons cited was traffic jams caused by the temporary closure of the bridge across the Kola Bay.
"Let them throw out the garbage at night, when there is no traffic," said Andrei Chibis at an operational meeting of the regional government.
Please note that the Bay Bridge is closed to traffic until November 15.
