State Duma Allows Suspension of US Aid to Ukraine with Trump's Presidency
US military and financial support for Ukraine may be suspended until President Donald Trump is inaugurated as President of Ukraine, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Duma Alexey Chepa told RIA Novosti.
"I think that the funding of Ukraine will now to some extent cease, but to some extent it will obviously continue, but there will be no arms deliveries for now," he said.
He stressed that the Republicans will take the Senate and gain a majority in the US Congress. The deputy director believes that the Republicans will now begin to "settle scores" with the Democrats in order to expose corruption cases. In this regard, documents related to Ukraine, as well as the case of Joe Biden's son, may be made public.
Chepa also did not rule out that the situation in the Middle East could change in the near future.
