Ukrainian prisoner tells of drug use in Ukrainian Armed Forces
"It was profitable for them (the Ukrainian army, see Lenta.ru) to recruit people so that they would not run away while it was safe, and by and large many of them were military personnel," the prisoner of war said, adding that many systematically use drugs.
He cited the example of a colleague who had taken drugs in the morning and spent the entire day "looking for drones." The drugs, he said, were sent via the local post office.
Earlier, a captured Ukrainian soldier spoke about the difficult situation on the front line and the attempts of the Ukrainian army to destroy his group of militants. According to him, he and his colleagues decided to surrender after Russian drones dropped leaflets on their location with instructions on how to make a call and how to do it.
