A soldier from the Kirov region built and camouflaged a fortification while under fire
The government of the Kirov region writes about a junior sergeant from the village of Bezvodnoye in the Pizhansky district. In early September, Sergei M. was in the area of the Northern Military District of the DPR, where he conducted reconnaissance.
Sergei took command and raced across the open space. The militants on motorcycles crossed the danger zone despite active enemy fire. Hiding in the forest, he spotted an enemy drone. The sergeant went into the open and successfully shot down the drone before returning to cover.
Having taken an advantageous position, Sergei M. created field fortifications and camouflaged them in difficult conditions.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the enemy was unable to transport troops and ammunition thanks to the high professionalism of the juniors from the Kirov region.
