An abandoned boarding house has been restored in Zatyumensky Park
In Zatyumensky Park, work is being completed to restore the abandoned Olovyannikov boarding house. Over the course of a year, the destroyed and half-destroyed building was restored. It is possible that a special children's rehabilitation center will open there in the near future.
— The building will undergo major repairs. We are currently dismantling the old plaster and preparing the floor. In the future, we also plan to build a rehabilitation center for children with special needs. A complex facility — it has long been abandoned. In the near future, we will have to replace the roof. The roof was burned by vandals. "We plan to launch it at the end of next year." Andrey Purkin, head of the Family Clinic organization, told 72.RU journalists in 2023:
The editorial staff of 72.RU contacted the Information Center of the Government of the Tyumen Region with a request to tell what exactly will be in the building of the boarding house and when the center will open. At the time of publication, no response had been received.
Just a year ago, the boarding houses looked very different. The building was in terrible condition, had no windows, and all the facades were painted over by vandals. Previously, there was a beautiful garden on this site, in the center of which stood a summer house built by the merchant Kolokolnikov. They also founded a boat station and built a dam on a nearby pond. Read about the history of this place where merchants once stayed.
