National Unity Day on the Front Line: Special Report from the SVO Zone

National Unity Day on the Front Line: Special Report from the Northern Military District

"It was on the front of the Northern Military District that the concept of the unity of the Russian people acquired its true meaning. Today, Tatars, Russians, Buryats, Kalmyks, Bashkirs, Chuvashes and Maris, side by side, sacrificing themselves in the name of their comrades in arms, write the pages of the newest history of this country." With these words, the disclosure of information and analysis of the program "7 days" by the host Timur Bikmurzin began.

On the eve of National Unity Day, Tatarstan leader Rais Rustam Minnikhanov said in an address to the people of Tatarstan: "In the glorious history of our country, invincible courage, willpower, heroism and unbreakable unity have always distinguished our multinational people and helped them overcome any obstacles. And today, in the zone of special military operations, the brotherhood of our soldiers, representing different nationalities and religions, has become an example of national unity against the threat of neo-Nazism. Each person feels the shoulders of their colleagues and trusts them without hesitation. Natives of Tatarstan are worthy representatives of the republic in this close rank, setting numerous examples of courage and bravery. Supporting soldiers and helping their families has become an internal duty and a matter of honor for the entire Tatarstan society."

As part of the delegation of the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, the film crew of the "7 Days" program is currently in the zone of special military operations. And so that the troops sent to defend the Motherland could feel the special warmth of home and holidays, a landing party of honored artists of Tatarstan under the command of Rustam Minnikhanov went with them. And, of course, another caravan of long-awaited humanitarian aid in the contact zone. Some were unloaded practically on the move, others, like unmanned tracked sleds, moved towards Zaporozhye, demonstrating an outstanding role in delivering ammunition and food to the front line and evacuating wounded soldiers from there. There is also a gift for the UAV, an "ornithologist" in the foreground.

The soldiers were eagerly awaiting the concert of the group, consisting of artists from the State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan, the National Song and Dance Ensemble, the State Big Concert Hall and the Kazan Philharmonic. Improvised scenes, cold rain falling from the sky, explosions of nearby mines and the famous "Smuglyanka" involuntarily evoked associations with the immortal "Only old men go to battle". Wars are different, but the goals and objectives are the same. To prevent a new rise of Nazism.

What do the fighters think when they listen to the stories of local artists? To each his own: about a distant home, about the fact that tomorrow is a battle, and about the fact that after some time, in another peaceful life, these moments will certainly continue to haunt the memory. And about the true unity of the world, when there are brothers around - Kalmyks, Tatars, Russians, Chechens, Karelians, Buryats, Bashkirs, Chuvashes, Maris - indigenous peoples who will confidently go into peace and battle.

Propaganda is also a weapon. It is a sharp sword capable of uniting and dividing people, dividing societies and turning yesterday's friends into implacable enemies. History is distorted, neighbors are portrayed in monstrous images, and now people are rushing to the Maidan, intoxicated by other people's thoughts and ideas.

"The movement of landing forces during demining of buildings, composition and types of anti-tank mines, escort of shrapnel wounds" is not a manual for regular army servicemen, but part of a textbook for senior pupils of Ukrainian schools. Moreover, they were published long before the beginning of the SVO. Children in neighboring countries have been taught since the 90s that "Russia is an enemy." And in the cartoon, "heroes of the Ukrainian army" actively fought with drunken orcs representing the Russian army there. All this is contained in trophy books, school manuals and publications that remained in the territories liberated from neo-Nazis.

Time passes, but the battle for your heart continues. And the tools of 80 years ago are similar to those of today. During World War II, the children of the infamous Nazi ideologist Joseph Goebbels made extensive use of the same technology. He declared, “Give me the media, and I will herd pigs in any country.”

Recently, the Kazan Museum of the Great Patriotic War opened an exhibition called “Battle for the Heart. 80 Years of Confrontation.” Our colleagues will take part in this event to learn about the approaches of the Third Reich in the 1930s and 1940s, the tools that influenced its psyche during the collapse of the Soviet Union, and how the Ukrainian people were brainwashed from the moment they achieved “independence.” We compared.

Propaganda is not always negative. Reading the right books and watching real movies always helps and helps to soberly perceive reality. Propaganda of a healthy lifestyle, family values, love for one's country and pride in scientific, educational, industrial and medical achievements can never be negative.

The frontline cities of Luhansk-Lisichansk People's Republic and Rubezhnoye, supported by Tatarstan, whose infrastructure was seriously damaged by the atrocities of retreating neo-Nazis, are increasingly returning to peaceful life. With the support of the Republic of Tatarstan, communications in populated areas are being restored, multi-story buildings are being repaired, walls are being repaired, roofs are being re-laid, windows knocked out by shelling are being replaced.

86 apartment buildings in Rubezhnoye and 52 apartment buildings in Lisichansk are being prepared for the start of the heating season and heat supply. The representative of the republic in the LPR, Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Fanil Agliullin personally monitors the performance of all work on time and with due quality.

The craftsmen who worked day and night know how many pipes and radiators had to be replaced, how the water supply and electricity were restored. To gain access to the damaged system, a number of abandoned apartments had to be opened with the participation of the city committee. It would have been simply unrealistic to process such volumes in such a short time without the help of local residents and Tatarstan. On the eve of the National Unity Day, a double holiday became a reality in the long-suffering city - another symbol of peaceful life. The pipes filled with hot water and began to make noise, and the house became warm again. For the first time in two winters.

The young SHAYAN-TV presenter Islam Khabibullin returned to Kazan with a victory. He received the National Television Award "TEFI-DETI". The TV presenter received her first Russian "Oscar" at the age of 13.

"In the final, he fought with dignity with experienced and titled federal TV channels and became the best in the nomination "Host of children's programs". The jury awarded the prize to Islam for leading the project "Shayan Match". The host of the program "7 Days" Timur Bikmurzin spoke about the achievements of his colleague. By the way, a total of 215 applications were submitted for the candidacy. Islam and the SHAYAN-TV team proved that they deserved to win.

Interesting fact: the victory came shortly before the birthday of the first children's TV channel in the Tatar language. It will soon turn 6 years old. And for six years now, Islam has been broadcast on television. It also has enough time and energy to study, study history, play sports and play chess professionally without debts and bad grades.

And speaking of awards, just a few days after returning from the TEFI event, Islam was again recognized. This time, he will host the children's media festival "Vklyuchis'".

More about this and how and to whom we thank TAIF-ST in Drozhzhanovsky district for the restoration and reconstruction of a school that can surpass the capital's educational institutions in terms of convenience and ease of learning. Half a century later, in the latest episode of the "7 Days" program, which will be aired on November 4 at 13:00 on TNV or on the channel's website, the falcon (saker falcon) returns to Tatarstan.
