Vedomosti found out who could head the Tambov and Rostov regions
The current heads of the Tambov and Rostov regions announced their resignations today. According to Vedomosti, Golubev may be replaced as head of OAK Slyusar, and Egorova may be replaced by the former mayor of Krasnodar and participant in special operations Pervyshov.
Following the resignation of Vasily Golubev, one of the candidates for the post of governor of the Rostov region has become the general director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) Yuri Slyusar, three sources close to the presidential administration told Vedomosti.
Informed sources of TASS also reported that Slyusar may take the post of Rostov governor. According to him, Slyusar's place in the UAC may be taken by the general director of the United Engine Corporation Vadim Badekha.
Two more sources told Vedomosti that Time of Heroes participant, former Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeny Pervyshov, could become governor of Tambov Oblast. In this post, he will replace Maxim Egorov, who announced his resignation earlier today.
Rostec declined to comment. RBC sent a request to the press service of the Rostov Region government.
Slyusar is 50 years old and was born in Rostov-on-Don. From 2005 to 2007, he headed the helicopter program committee of the United Industrial Corporation Oboronprom. Then he headed the aviation industry department of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and worked as the commercial director of Rosvertol. Since 2012, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, where he oversaw projects in the aviation sector. Slyusar became president of the United Aircraft Corporation in January 2015. Pervyshov is 48 years old and was born in Krasnodar. According to Vedomosti, Pervyshov worked at oil refineries and city structures in Krasnodar in the 1990s. Since 2012, he held the position of deputy director, and then head of the city government. Then he became the head of the administration of the Prikubansky urban district. Since September 2013, he was the deputy director of the city of Krasnodar, and three years later he became the mayor of Krasnodar (a position he held until 2021). It was announced that he would go to the special operations zone in October 2022. Since May 2024, we have been accepting the "Era of Heroes" personnel program for participants and servicemen of special operations. In June of this year, during a meeting with President Vladimir Putin as part of the "Time of Heroes" program, Pervishev told the head of state about his work as mayor of Krasnodar. "You were the mayor of Krasnodar? What is your name? Evgeny? "I will make you an offer," Putin replied.
When announcing his resignation, Golubev did not specify what position he would be moving to. "There are new things and tasks ahead. But wherever I work in the future, my main priority will always be the support and development of my beloved Rostov Region," the politician wrote. He served as governor of the Rostov Region for 14 years, starting in the summer of 2010. Golubev is currently serving his third term as governor, with his term expiring in 2025.
On the contrary, the head of the Tambov region, Yegorov, said that he would take on "new tasks" at the federal level. "I am a true Tambovite, I am glad that the "Tambov wolves" are now our comrades," Yegorov said. This politician became acting governor of the Tambov region in October 2021, and took up the post of governor a year later, on September 20, 2022.
The elections for the heads of the Tambov and Rostov regions will be held on a single voting day in September 2025, the regional election commission told RIA Novosti.
