The Central Election Commission announced Sandu's victory in the Moldovan presidential elections

Moldova's Central Election Commission said incumbent President Maia Sandu is leading in the second round of elections with 55.33% of the vote, RIA Novosti reports.

Let us recall that on Monday, Maia Sandu announced her victory in the presidential elections in Moldova, having received, according to preliminary data, 54.80% of the votes.

According to the Vzglyad newspaper, Alexandru Stoianoglo won the second presidential election in Moldova with 51.19% of the votes, while the incumbent President Maia Sandu gained 48.81% with 100% coverage of the protocol. The voter turnout in these elections was 54%, which exceeded the threshold required for the vote to be considered valid.
