Rostov Region Governor Golubev Resigns Due to Job Change
Rostov Region Governor Vasily Golubev announced on his Telegram channel his decision to resign due to a transfer to another job.
He wrote that the joint actions of the Don residents’ team made it possible to solve many pressing problems, implement many projects important for the region, and make Rostov Oblast a leading region.
“Wherever I work in the future, my main priority will always be the support and development of my beloved Rostov region,” concluded Golubev.
A few minutes earlier, the head of the Tambov region, Maxim Egorov, also announced his resignation. He published a video in which he said that the country's leadership had set various tasks for him at the federal level.
In mid-October, the head of the city of Nazran, located in the Republic of Ingushetia, Urukhan Yevloyev, resigned early. Local authorities added that Ramzan Tutayev became the acting head of Nazran. Before that, he held the position of deputy mayor of the city.
