Meteors to Oreshek Fortress Increased Passenger Flow by 20%
This navigation season, the Astra Marine Group's meteors carried 20% more passengers compared to last year.
In total, more than 7 thousand tourists visited the Oreshek Fortress on the company's meteorites this year.
During the season, Astra Marine made 140 trips from St. Petersburg to the Oreshek Fortress. The Meteor flights were made regularly, every day. From Monday to Thursday there was a direct trip to Orekhovy Island, and from Friday to Sunday there was an additional visit to the Lifting of the Siege of Leningrad Museum.
— Meteor excursions to the Oreshek Fortress and the Leningrad Siege Breakthrough Museum have become a pleasant family pastime while studying the history of our region and the country as a whole. In the past navigation season, interest in such tours has increased among residents of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. Their number is almost equal to the number of tourists from other cities who have chosen this route for their vacation," said Andrey Kuznetsov, CEO of the Astra Marine Group of Companies. — Regular daily flights along the route will continue next season.
Astra Marine notes that one of the trends on the route between St. Petersburg and the Oreshek fortress has become a large number of individual tourists. By the end of the season, it accounted for about 80% of the total passenger flow on the route.
Next year, Astra Marine plans to increase free time for walks around the Oreshek fortress. This is due to the fact that several restored objects are being prepared for the opening of the square.
