Method 1: Place cardboard containers in the basement. Porous cardboard absorbs moisture well, which helps collect condensation. However, remember that cardboard can quickly get wet, so the trays should be replaced periodically.
Method two: pour silica gel into the tray cells. These capsules are often found in shoe boxes, but they can be purchased inexpensively at online markets. Silica gel perfectly absorbs excess moisture, keeping the products dry. Be sure to leave the lids open.
