Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement, was killed in a tank attack, IDF spokesperson Major (Reserve) Anna Ukolova told RIA Novosti.
According to her, Sinwar was discovered by a group of soldiers who were on a mission with the Hamas leader and two other people.
She noted that the actions of the Israeli military forced them to move because they learned that the Hamas leader was in the same area for his next mission.
Let us recall that Yahya Sinwar was killed in Rafah on October 17 during clashes with the IDF.
