HC "Torpedo" - "Neftekhimik": final match on October 17
Hockey clubs Torpedo and Neftekhimik met in a KHL match on October 17. The game was held at the Nagorny Sports Palace. The match ended with a 5:4 victory for the Nizhny Novgorod team.
Torpedo forward Bobby Lynch opened the scoring in the game. Then Nikita Artamonov and then Maxim Letunov improved their results in the HC. In the first period, the opponent was able to score one goal. Defenseman Luka Profaca scored for Neftekhimik. The score remained unchanged for 20 minutes of the second half. Vasily Atanasov scored the fourth goal for Torpedo in the third period. In the 53rd minute of the game, Profaca threw the puck from the blue line, and Yegor Korbit successfully placed his stick, as a result of which Neftekhimik increased the score. And literally a few minutes later, the forward of the same HC Evgeny Mityakin scored another point. In the final, Jean-Sebastian Dy scored the fourth goal against the Nizhny Novgorod team.
