New repairs on Rybinskaya Street leave visually impaired people in Yaroslavl without a sidewalk
The recent reconstruction of Livinskaya Street, where the Yaroslavl branch of the All-Russian Society of the Blind is located, has created problems for visually impaired people. The sidewalks are narrow, and simply going to the hairdresser becomes life-threatening. The famous fence was gone, as was the only parking space next to the organization's office. A separate problem is the ditch in front of the community center, between the new and old surfaces.
In response to a request, the mayor's office said: "The repairs have not yet been completed, and the customer will force the contractor to restore the fence and parking lot."
