Sobyanin: Over 7 million square meters of housing to be built in Moscow in the next three years

The capital's authorities plan to build 7.3 million square meters of housing, most of which will be built as part of the renovation program, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said. At the same time, the city will undergo improvements and develop social infrastructure. Accordingly, about 300 projects, including private investment, are planned to be implemented from 2025 to 2027. This number includes 200 kindergartens and school buildings, 31 medical and cultural facilities, 36 sports facilities and 5 social support facilities. The construction of housing and social facilities remains a priority of Moscow's target investment program, the mayor emphasized.

One of the most important sections of the target investment program is the development of transport infrastructure. In the next three years, it is planned to open 12 new metro stations and build more than 28 km of metro lines.
