Lukashenko Accuses West of Attempting to Exclude Belarus from Ukraine Talks

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that the West, counting on the support of the Belarusian opposition, is trying to prevent Minsk and him personally from resolving the Ukrainian conflict. This is stated in a video published by the Telegram channel close to the presidential press service "Pool of the First".

Lukashenko has repeatedly drawn attention to the need for Belarus to participate in the negotiations on Ukraine, believing that this affects the interests of his country. He noted that he spoke about this with both Ukrainian and Russian leaders, including Vladimir Putin. According to Lukashenko, the issues that could be discussed at the negotiations could have consequences for Belarus, even if there is no immediate threat of territorial losses.

Lukashenko also noted that the plan to exclude Minsk from the process was developed with the support of opposition parties operating outside the country. He expressed the opinion that Western countries would block his participation in the negotiations because he would defend the interests of Belarus.

Lukashenko also added that the West and the Belarusian opposition do not take into account the interests of Belarusians and their actions are directed against the country. He noted that the opposition and Western allies want to see those in power ready to sell Belarus.

Lukashenko reportedly spoke about the conditions for the start of the war.

It was recorded that earlier the Belarusian leader declared his support for Ukraine in the event of Polish aggression.
