Vladimir Putin ordered to expand the powers of the Ministry of Sports
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered that the powers of the Russian Ministry of Sports be expanded. The Russian leader announced this at a meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports, which took place on Thursday, October 17.
President Putin noted that control over the work of sports facilities should be flexible and effective. According to him, all sports organizations should be included in a single federal database, which would allow citizens to be provided with important real information and clearly inform the authorities which companies in the industry should provide administrative or financial support.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a bill that revokes licenses for up to one and a half years for those accused of using special devices to conceal their license plates.
