Emergencies Ministry: 3 people died in an accident involving a truck loaded with fireworks in the Amur Region

Three people died in a traffic accident involving a truck carrying fireworks in the Arkhangelsk region. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry.

The Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport reported that a truck and a passenger car collided on a 1,476-kilometer section of the federal Amur highway, and both cars caught fire. According to operational information, the truck driver was hospitalized. The press service added that all people in the car died.

There are nine employees and three pieces of equipment working at the facility.

As reported by Telegram channel 112, the accident occurred at a gas station in the village of Vozzhayevka. It is reported that a passenger car collided with a large truck. The second participant in the accident then fell on its side and touched a wire. As a result, the car caught fire along with the fireworks.

Before that, a million-dollar yacht sank in Los Angeles. While sailing, about a thousand fireworks suddenly exploded on the ship, causing a fire.

There were two people on the boat at the time of the incident, one of whom was injured. It is not known why the fireworks exploded earlier than planned.
