Six more people detained in case of Samara Emergencies Ministry general

Six more people have been detained in connection with the criminal case against the former Minister of Emergency Situations of the Samara Region.

The agency's employees may be charged with bribery. According to preliminary information, among the six detainees was Dmitry Zinin, former head of the 3rd fire and rescue service.

The prisoners are being transported to Moscow. The Basmansky District Court of Moscow will choose a preventive measure in this regard. VolgaNews reports this with reference to a source.

We remind you that Oleg Boyko was detained on December 18, 2023, on charges of receiving a bribe totaling 25 million rubles from the management of Vityaz, a company of the Samara group specializing in fire safety. The heads of the Vityaz group of companies, Yan Gushchin and Elena Tyutyunnik, as well as the former head of the regional emergency management department, were detained.

According to the preliminary version, this is a contract for servicing the Strelets-Monitoring software and hardware complex, which is responsible for transmitting data on fires in an automated mode. The signal is transmitted to the emergency control panel, which directs you to the nearest fire station.

In particular, the former head of the Samara Ministry of Emergency Situations and his accomplices face up to 15 years in prison on charges of large-scale bribery.

It was previously reported that Oleg Boyko confessed and is actively cooperating with the investigation in solving the crime and investigating it.

It was reported that the preliminary investigation period in the case of Oleg Boyko was recently extended until November 15.
