Harassment, dismissal, misunderstanding: who is to blame for the tragedy of the young Tyumen teacher - the opinion of a journalist

A short but extremely emotional story of a young teacher about the difficulties of her first day on the job became the subject of widespread discussion and the reason for the teacher's dismissal (at his own request, of course). The comments she made on her first day at school two years ago eventually spread among students, parents, the principal, and the Internet. 72.RU journalist Nikita Kiforuk believes that this incident is a tragic example of how stupid posts on social networks ruin a person's life and leave no room for correction. Below - starting from the first person.

It is easy to understand the concerns of young professionals. The workload of teachers is enormous, and their motivation for work is not always sufficient. It is no secret that modern teenagers often have difficulties in communication. Parents often shift responsibility for raising children to teachers and leave their problems alone with their children. Or rather, there is a whole class of problems. And despite these difficulties, teachers must cope with the challenges of modern reality and instill in students a sense of responsibility and respect.

- I hate children. It's been two months and I hate my children. It's a nightmare.

The only thing that keeps me going to school is my salary. It's good. That's all. I'm ready to kill.

I'm going to class now. And... um*** (damn). I don't know what's going to happen. If they piss me off again. I really want to quit them. It's impossible. But you pay $7,000 for good management. *** (villain). They're just little faggots," she says in the video.

I agree. That statement is too harsh. But... what is she doing wrong? Look at how teenagers behave. Bold, daring, "witty" and incredibly loud. Moreover, they point out their rights everywhere. Really, don't you feel the same way when yet another bunch of arguing teenagers on electric scooters rushes past you? And probably, when you tell your friends about this, you will not call your children Flower of Life. I'm sure much more colorful nicknames are used. And the girl clearly had no one to talk to. So, I posted a circle about my experience on my Telegram channel.

On the other hand, the teacher's words posted in a private message were considered unacceptable. Statements highlighting negative feelings about work were offensive in this case. Teachers are not just disseminators of information, they are role models and authorities. He must set an example and take care of his reputation. And think carefully before posting nonsense on social media.

It should be noted that the students who leaked this message also made a mistake. By doing so, they not only violated personal boundaries, but also publicly criticized their teachers. This behavior indicates some discord between the student and the teacher. Why not find another way to solve the problem? Why not talk to your teacher or parents? Why immediately post the video on the city's public page?

But the saddest thing about this story is how the education department and school management reacted to the incident. In essence, the young teacher was simply fired, without paying attention to the age of the video and without trying to understand her situation (yes, she wrote the statement of her own free will, but we all know how such statements are written). And the funniest thing is that now children and parents want their teachers back. Why couldn't everyone just get together and speak out?

As far as I know, there was no attempt to understand her experience, no opportunity to apologize, no alternative solution offered. Who is she now? How will she start a new job if she has this stigma attached to her? Perhaps schools and education departments could think about how they can build support and attract valuable teachers, rather than abandoning young professionals so easily? Where is the escape hatch? What lessons have you taught your children? If you make a mistake, will no one let you fix it yourself? What kinds of crimes can lead to persecution? Then children have to think about the possibility that all their TikToks and posts could come back to haunt them one day.

Against this background, the story of the vice-governor arrested on charges of corruption comes to mind. For some reason, they were in no hurry to fire Vyacheslav Vakhrin. Although his situation required an investigation by the authorities, the teacher did not have to fight with minor faults. That's different.

Ultimately, the teacher’s situation is a clear example of the imperfections of the system and the need to think about what we post on social media. These situations reveal the complexities and tensions of the school environment and highlight the importance of open dialogue between teachers, students and parents. The question is not who is right or wrong, but how best to build relationships and solve problems that arise. And of course, we must not forget that everything posted on the Internet is publicly available.
