Ukrainian soldier surrenders immediately after commanders escape during shelling

Soon Yaroslav took himself and his companions away from Sumy to an unknown destination. It was later revealed that the militants were sent to the Kursk region.
Captured Ukrainian fighter Yaroslav Mazur: "They sent me to Kursk in an APC. They didn't tell us anything. They just came and unloaded. There was shelling, and we ran to the basement. As a result of the FPV crash, two people were injured. The people who started us ran away. We stayed there, and your people came and ordered us to surrender. We surrendered immediately."
Earlier, another Ukrainian prisoner of war said that Ukrainian military commanders were sending soldiers as "meat" to settlements occupied by Russian troops. Another accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of lying and called on his comrades to lay down their arms and surrender.
