Deputy head of military unit, returning from SVO, shot in car
The incident occurred this morning, October 16. The criminal was driving on a dirt road and fired three shots into the driver's window of a car passing nearby. The driver of the hit car died at the scene from his injuries. The criminal fled.
The deceased was the deputy commander of one of the military units, TASS reports. A week ago, the man returned home from the SVO.
A criminal case has been opened under the articles "murder" and "illegal arms trafficking" (article "z", part 2 of article 105 and part 1 of article 222). They are looking for the culprit. Investigators are questioning witnesses and examining the crime scene.
