Zakharova suggested that the candidate for German chancellor should present ultimatums to his wife, not Russia
Moscow, October 17, FederalPress. If Germany wants to put an end to the conflict, it must stop supplying weapons to Ukraine. This is how Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on the statement by German Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz regarding Russia's ultimatum.
The Russian Foreign Ministry representative stressed that if the German authorities really want to stop the fighting in Ukraine, they must stop supplying weapons to the terrorist regime in Kyiv.
On Wednesday, Christian Democratic Party leader and German Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz criticized current Chancellor Olaf Scholz for not providing enough military support to Ukraine. On his first day in office, Merz will issue an ultimatum to Russia, promising that if it is not met, Berlin will hand over long-range Taurus missiles to Kyiv within 24 hours.
