Over the summer, 20% more tourists visited St. Petersburg than a year ago
From May to August, the tourist flow to St. Petersburg increased by 20% compared to the previous year, reaching 2.5 million people. This is almost twice the average growth rate in the country.
In total, more than 8.7 million trips have been made to St. Petersburg since the beginning of this year. Most of the guests came from the Moscow agglomeration, Pskov region, Karelia, Nizhny Novgorod region and Krasnodar region.
