Peskov advised to contact the police after Kadyrov's words about the planned assassination attempt
The Kremlin has refused to comment on comments by Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov about an assassination attempt on his life. The statement was written by the Russian president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, quoted by TASS.
"We do not comment on this situation. In the event of a threat, every citizen contacts law enforcement agencies, which take the necessary actions in accordance with the law. There can be no different opinions here," Peskov said.
According to Interfax, a Kremlin spokesman responded to a journalist's request to comment on "the situation in which the head of one of Russia's regions threatened a senator and two deputies with bloody reprisals."
On October 10, Ramzan Kadyrov declared a bloody feud against members of the Federation Council and the Federal Assembly of Russia. It is reported that they tried to order his murder because of the scandal around the Wildberry market. The head of the republic made this statement during a meeting with Chechen security forces, which was conducted mainly in the Chechen language.
"If they cannot prove otherwise, I officially declare a blood feud against Barakhoev, Suleiman Kerimov and Rizvan Kurbanov. There are witnesses, there are people who received orders, and they asked how acceptable the order [for the murder of Ramzan Kadyrov] is," Kadyrov said.
He also spoke for the first time about the shooting near the Wildberry office in central Moscow, which killed two security guards from Ingushetia. "It is assumed that the instigators of the conflict are Kadyrov's people," Kadyrov said, noting that the incident "was carefully given a national flavor." The politician also advised those who have complaints about Kadyrov's subordinates to express them to him personally, since he is "Kadyrov's top man."
"Whoever thinks that entire nations can be set against each other for everyday reasons is very much mistaken. You must answer for your words! If you have questions for me, no problem. "I'm waiting!" The head of Chechnya said:
Kadyrov also called the incident at the mayor's office a business situation and accused Kerimov, Kurbanov and Barakhoev of trying to take the business away from Tatyana Kim, who is married to Bakalchuk and announced in September that she would change her last name back to her maiden name. Earlier, Chechen State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov said that it was Bekkhan Barakhoev who "used his people" to guard Wildberry's Moscow office, which ultimately provoked the shootout. According to him, the "Muscovites" hired by Barakhoev decided to ambush Bakalchuk and his security detail, which consisted of Chechens.
On October 11, State Assembly deputy Rizvan Kurbanov, whom Kadyrov accused of organizing the assassination attempt, declared his innocence.
"I officially declare that I never participated in the preparation of the murder of Ramzan Akhmatovich Kadyrov and that the Almighty is a witness to this. I have always had deep respect for the Kadyrov family, ever since I was a very close friend of [Kadyrov's father] Akhmat-Khadzhi," the deputy said in a video posted on his Telegram channel.
Kurbanov also noted that he has no connection and is not affiliated with the Wildpers company.
"Allah is my witness. I know nothing about this. I have nothing to do with this," Barakhoev said during a meeting with members of the Malgobek community.
In addition, Rep. Lee stressed that he has absolutely nothing to do with the market.
As for Dagestan Senator Suleiman Kerimov, he has not yet commented on Ramzan Kadyrov's statement. But the head of the republic, Sergei Melikov, has come to the defense of the politician and businessman.
"All the actions of Suleiman Abusaidovich Kerimov come from the heart. Dagestan will always support him in difficult times, when he needs it," Melikov said.
According to Kommersant's sources, Suleiman Kerimov is behind the Rus company, whose merger with Wildberry provoked a conflict between Vladislav Bakalchuk and Tatyana Kim.
