Ten more schools in Yekaterinburg closed for quarantine due to virus outbreak
In Yekaterinburg, the list of schools closed for quarantine last week due to a pneumonia outbreak was expanded by 10 institutions. At the same time, students at some universities have already suspended distance learning. This was reported to URA.RU by the press service of the mayor's office.
"Over the past week, schools 52, 132, 85, 151, 130, 105, 161, 159, 106 and French Gymnasium 39 have been closed for quarantine," the report says. Students from 25 schools and kindergarten No. 451 are currently studying remotely in Yekaterinburg.
Last week, 29 institutions were closed for quarantine in the city. The restrictions affected schools in the Ordzhonikidzevsky, Akademichesky, Oktyabrsky, Chkalovsky and Verkh-Isetsky districts. Anti-coronavirus measures are currently being implemented in Yekaterinburg educational institutions, including checking students' temperatures at the entrance.
