Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal's visit to Switzerland cancelled due to force majeure
Shmyhal was due to arrive in Switzerland on 16 October to attend an international conference on demining in Ukraine. The visit's programme also included a joint press conference with Swiss President Viola Ahmaud.
In September last year, Shmyhal said that it was important for Russia to take part in the second peace summit on Ukraine. According to the Prime Minister, direct participation of Moscow representatives in the meeting is better than communicating with the Russian Federation through several intermediaries.
