It has been decided to make travel on the Chusovsky Bridge a toll road after all
The toll for crossing the new Chusovsky Bridge in Perm will start to be collected from the beginning of 2027. The Perm Krai government stated that the innovation will only affect public transport.
Kommersant-Prikamye cites data from the explanatory note to the draft regional budget for 2025-2027. "In 2027, the regional authorities expect to receive 217.3 million rubles for transportation across the Chusovsky Bridge." The press service of the Kama Region Ministry of Transport explained that the cost of travel was calculated based on an analysis of traffic flows.
For passenger cars the fare is 100 rubles, for trucks - 300 rubles. URA.RU sources in the local political elite believe that the final price will be higher.
The new bridge across the Chusovaya opened in December 2022, and the old bridge was closed for repairs. Internal disagreements led to long delays in the reconstruction. Work is underway to change the general contractor, which is currently AO Stroytransgaz. The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
