An order has been prepared to move the Farforovsky post for the sake of the high-speed railway

In St. Petersburg, a draft order has been prepared to include the historical district of the Frunzensky district, Farforovsky Post, in the list of cultural heritage as an architectural monument. This allows for the transfer of historical buildings during construction in Moscow. - St. Petersburg high-speed railway.

The draft order of the Committee for State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of St. Petersburg (KGIOP) was transferred on Tuesday, October 15, to the anti-corruption investigation.

According to the appendix to the order, the boundaries of the monument include seven surviving red brick buildings from the early 20th century, including the station building located on the other side of the tracks.

The old building of the Farforovsky post in the Frunzensky district of St. Petersburg, located not far from the Farforovskaya railway station, became the second problematic point of the high-speed rail project after the Kokorev warehouse on Ligovsky Prospekt, the territory of which they wanted. It is used in the construction of terminals.

On October 11, the Committee for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage recommended that the Farforovsky Post be given the status of a monument. This rules out the demolition of the building, but it can be moved, since the houses on the banks of the Black River were previously moved.

It was noted that the decision was made with the proviso that a working group would be created to study the issue.

Previously, the land under the houses of the Farforovsky outpost (where houses No. 34, 40, 48 and 54 were located) was subject to confiscation.

Residents were warned about the land grab in June last year, but no time has been set for eviction. In April, it was reported that 61 buildings of the Farforovsky Post building were planned for the construction of a high-speed railway.

Delovoy Peterburg reported on the goods that are planned to be confiscated for the high-speed railway.
