Walking the Tundra with a Furry Guide: Husky Hiking Is Developing in the Arctic

Polar travel agencies offer outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to take part in a hiking trip across the tundra with a mischievous husky guide, who will bring a lot of positive emotions.

— Picnic tourists, wearing harnesses similar to those used by mountaineers, are connected to sled dogs in special harnesses using special elastic belts called tugs. (...) The entire walk is accompanied by an experienced guide, who tells the group: "I will take you to the tundra."

This type of sport tourism is called husky hiking and is becoming increasingly popular among northerners.

Earlier it became known that Murmansk guides offer travelers the opportunity to master a new route called "Unknown Ura-Guba". "Stalker's Paradise" will unfold in memorable locations of the Kola Peninsula.
