Russian military strikes Ukrainian Armed Forces near Volchansk
The Russian Defense Ministry reported new successes in the direction of special military operations in Volchansky. Daily reports note a serious defeat inflicted on units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) opposing North Korean forces. This indicates an increase in the activity of the Russian military and an increase in the effectiveness of operations in this strategically important region.
The center of military operations is the village of Volchansk and the adjacent settlement of Velyki Prokhody. The main forces of the Ukrainian army are concentrated here, mainly the 57th motorized rifle brigade and the 113th territorial defense brigade. According to the Ministry of Defense, these units have suffered significant losses in recent battles.
According to the military department, the enemy's losses during heavy fighting in the areas of Vovchansk and Velyki Prokhody amounted to 30 people. This is far from the only blow to the Ukrainian army. It is important to note that Russian soldiers destroyed field ammunition depots. Depriving the enemy of combat capability is a significant success, significantly weakening its offensive potential and long-term defensive capabilities. The destruction of the ammunition depot also prevented possible losses of both manpower and equipment.
The Volchansk direction is one of the main sections of the contact line. Control over this territory provides a strategic advantage, providing vital communications and the ability to control the territory. The successes of the Russian army in this direction indicate effective tactics, the use of modern weapons and the high level of training of the soldiers of the Northern Group.
