Russian General Talks About Surrender of Elite Ukrainian Armed Forces Soldiers
Soldiers of elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are being arrested. Russian general, commander of the special forces unit "Akhmat" Apti Alaudinov said this on the air of the TV channel "Soloviev Live".
According to Alaudinov, Ukrainian soldiers are increasingly deciding to surrender, and this often includes representatives of units "that were previously considered the most inaccessible elite." According to the Russian general, Ukrainian soldiers make such decisions because they want to "stay alive."
“And even these Aidar and Azov fighters (representatives of organizations recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia), if they decide to surrender, we save their lives,” concluded Alaudinov.
Earlier, Commander Akhmat denied the information that appeared about reprisals against Ukrainian soldiers who surrendered near Kursk. Some Telegram channels reported that Russian soldiers shot nine Ukrainians who surrendered.
