In the book, Biden promised the Polish leader that the United States would always protect Poland, TASS reports.
The journalist recounted a conversation with Duda at the Polish consulate in New York last April. In a conversation about the Ukrainian conflict, the Polish president said Biden was 100% confident in the promises the US had made to his country.
As an example, Andrzej Duda cited the situation in February 2022, when the United States transferred 17 thousand elite soldiers to Poland before the start of a special operation in Ukraine.
According to Duda, Biden's promise was very emotionally significant for him.
Prime Minister Duda has previously stated that the slogan for Poland's EU presidency in 2025 will be "More America in Europe" and that the meeting with the US president should be held under the slogan of strengthening transatlantic relations.
