TsODD urged Muscovites to switch to metro due to bad weather

In bad weather in the capital, city residents are best off traveling by metro. This was reported by the Moscow Ministry of Transport through its official Telegram channel regarding the data center.

Currently, heavy traffic is observed outside the Third Transport Ring in the area of ​​Dmitrovskoe and Varshavskoe Highways, Kutuzovsky Prospekt and the Novorizhskaya Overpass.

In the evening, traffic jams may occur on Leningradskoe Shosse in the direction of the region, beyond the Moscow Ring Road in the area of ​​the Khimki Bridge and on Volgogradsky Prospekt in the direction of the region, the department warns.

Difficulties may arise due to bad weather, road works and minor traffic accidents. Drivers should not slow down, be careful and keep their distance.

In Moscow, 23% of the monthly precipitation norm fell in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 22 mm of precipitation fell in Serpukhov near Moscow, which corresponds to 38% of the total October norm. A significant amount of precipitation also fell in Gorki Leninskiye and Podmoskovnaya (17 mm), Melikhovo and Mikhnevo (18 mm), Nemchinovka (19 mm).
