Sochi entered the top 3 cities for long-term accommodation of tourists
Experts have identified the most popular cities where tourists book hotels for long periods, starting from three weeks.
The Russian capital accounts for 60% of orders. Most users choose inexpensive hotels, the average cost of a room is 2,000 rubles per day, RIA Novosti reports, citing OneTwoTrip.
Third place – Sochi, where 4% of travelers plan to stay more than three weeks. They pay an average of 8.5 thousand rubles per day.
More than 2% of tourists visit Krasnodar and Anapa for a long period of time. Accommodation in the first costs an average of 5,000 rubles per day, in the second - 2.7 thousand.
Phuket and Pattaya are the leaders among foreign destinations where our compatriots stay for more than three weeks. This place was named by more than 10% of users. The average cost of a room in Phuket is 4,000 rubles per day, in Pattaya - 6,000 rubles more expensive.
As reported earlier, Krasnodar and Adler have become some of the most popular departure points to Crimea. Among these cities, the peninsula attracts the most tourists. In addition, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don also took first place in the number of tourists visiting Crimea.
