Muscovites have made more than a million trips on electric boats since the beginning of 2024

Since the beginning of the year, passengers have made more than a million trips on electric vessels along the capital's regular river routes. The Moscow agency learned about this through the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

Thus, the Kyiv – Fili Park route was used about 650,000 times, and the ZIL – Pechatniki route – more than 350,000 times.

The head of the department, Maxim Liksutov, said that the popularity of river transport is growing every day. City residents can use electric boats at any time of the year. According to him, a new pier has opened in Moscow and the infrastructure is being improved to make travel more comfortable.

Up to five additional routes are planned to be organized by 2030. In 2025 alone, the fleet will be replenished with 10 ships, and five new berths will appear. In addition, another line of electric ships is being developed, which can improve transport accessibility for almost 60,000 residents of four megacities.

The Ministry of Transport recalled that the new pier opened a month ago and has already been used by Muscovites more than 17 thousand times. Since the beginning of the journey, the electric vessel has made a total of more than 53,000 trips and covered 470,000 km.

"Winter" tariffs are valid on river routes until April 30. When using the "Troika" card and biometrics, the cost of the trip is 100 rubles on weekdays, 130 rubles on holidays and weekends, and when using a bank card and the fast payment system - 120 rubles on weekdays, 150 rubles on holidays and weekends.

Children under 7 years of age accompanied by an adult, as well as holders of tickets for 30, 90 or 365 days travel free.
