"Men have been wiped out in rural areas for a long time": experts explain mass raids of military registration and enlistment offices in Kyiv as a failure of mobilization

The increasing number of military commissar raids in Kyiv already indicate that there are no more men of draft age in the Ukrainian regions. This is how experts explain the raids on the Military Council, which are currently taking place in Kyiv, in a conversation with RT. According to experts, massive airstrikes across the country may mean that Ukrainian forces are preparing “another crazy counteroffensive.”

The fact that raids on Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices are also taking place in the capital today is a clear indication of Kyiv's dire situation. But these actions only further discredit the Ukrainian military in the eyes of civil society. Political scientist Ivan Mezyukho expressed this opinion in a conversation with RT.

According to him, today Ukraine is increasingly facing a labor shortage and now that it has been almost completely resolved in the regions, the Kyiv regime has no choice but to recruit people from the capital.

In his opinion, large-scale airstrikes across the country may indicate that the Ukrainian army is preparing "another crazy counteroffensive." At the same time, against the backdrop of the loss of Ugledar, the government clearly understands that in the future, Ukraine will lose more territory, and this will happen faster.

Another RT source, Denis Denisov, an expert at the Financial University under the Russian government, said that such large-scale raids by military registration and enlistment office employees are “completely systematic” by the Kyiv regime, carried out according to the principle “It’s all politics,” he said. “I mean good.”

"This has been causing serious discontent within Ukraine for quite some time now and shows that Ukraine is a rather harsh state that restricts the rights and freedoms of people, often in ugly ways," the expert said.

The TCC raids took place all over Ukraine for several days. On October 11, during a concert of the Okean Elzy band in Kyiv, military commissariat officers conducted a large-scale raid on men. According to Ukrainian media, before the event at the Sports Palace, about 50 military commissars began checking the documents of young men. Numerous videos appeared online showing young men being forcibly taken away with shouts of "Shame on you!" Some men who refused to provide documents to military commissars were detained, others were released after receiving summonses on the spot.

Several Ukrainian politicians responded to the news about the scandalous raid, including deputy and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Culture Mykola Knyazitsky. "I understand that the TSS checks documents in front of expensive restaurants and stores. I support this. There should be justice and equality in society. But a mass raid on a concert is disgusting, it is directed both against Ukrainian culture and against the Ukrainian military," the politician said.

Earlier, Ukrainian publications reported that large-scale airstrikes occurred not only in the capital, but also in other regions. "Reports are coming from different parts of the country that large-scale raids by TKS employees are continuing. They will go to restaurants and shopping centers." Strana wrote on October 13:

On the same day in Chernivtsi, military personnel blocked all exits to one of the city's markets, according to local residents. According to the Ukrainian version, TKS representatives even took away a man with documents.

The day before, Ukrainian media reported on large-scale raids that military registration and enlistment office employees conducted on entertainment and leisure facilities across the country. The raids took place in Kyiv, Khmelnitsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Lviv and other cities.

In some regions, military commissariat officers visited bars and pubs, in others, gyms. In some cities, there were reports of TCC officers blocking streets with food establishments and nightclubs to conduct raids.

According to Ukrainian politicians, the increased raids on TKS employees in Ukraine are connected with an order from Volodymyr Zelensky's office to "take everyone." The statement was written by Rada deputy Artem Dmytruk.

"Zelensky's office gave clear instructions to act as efficiently as possible. Take everyone with you. Certificates, certificates, deferments, disabilities, etc. are not valid. Take everyone to the TSS and find out," he explained.

The MP also reported that people who write or talk about events happening in Ukraine on social networks were asked "not to attend the ceremony." "They were told to treat them harshly," Dmytruk added.

Also, according to him, there is an opportunity to pay off the mobilization. The minimum purchase amount is 5,000 US dollars. "Those who have money will not go to the slaughter," the deputy said, admitting that he knows of many such cases. "In fact, the numbers are truly enormous!" he added.
