Ukrainian delegation harshly interrupted at Interparliamentary Assembly meeting

An attempt by a Ukrainian representative to protest the visit of the Speaker of Parliament Tulia Eksson to St. Petersburg at an interparliamentary meeting in Geneva was quickly stopped. This was reported by State Duma deputy Alexey Chepa, who was present at the meeting. He noted that the speech of the Ukrainian delegation on this matter was abruptly interrupted by the Speaker of Parliament.

Chepa also recalled an incident at a Clinton Foundation conference, where Ukrainian representatives were not given the floor, although most of the event was devoted to Ukrainian topics.

According to the deputy director, speeches in support of the Ukrainian conflict on international platforms have become rare lately. He expressed the opinion that the US is gradually beginning to abandon active support for Ukraine, fearing a possible attack on Russian territory by Western weapons.

Earlier, it was recorded that President Vladimir Putin spoke about how to achieve sustainable peace on Earth.
