St. Petersburg fountains to be insured for 3 billion rubles
The cost of all the structures is estimated at 2.96 billion rubles with a maximum insurance price of 1.97 million dollars. The results of the competition to select an insurance company will be announced next week.
The most expensive fountain is located on Moskovskaya Square and costs 462 million rubles. The next most expensive is on Lenin Square (151 million).
The cheapest fountains are located on Kazanskaya Street (36,000 rubles) and Zelenogorsk railway station (26,000). In total, 107 fountain complexes and structures are listed in the insurance register.
Experts say insuring your fountain can help prevent additional costs to your city's budget if the fountain breaks or malfunctions.
