In Ukraine, an official was accused of stealing money to buy road salt. This is reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
Law enforcement agencies of Ukraine have revealed a mechanism by which officials of the Kyiv administration steal money when buying road salt. The amount of theft exceeds 11 million hryvnia (25.5 million rubles).
The woman has been charged but there has been no news of her arrest. She faces up to five years in prison and is barred from holding certain positions for three years.
