Kremlin says it is illogical to talk about a threat to NATO from Russia

It is illogical to say that Russia wants to attack the military alliance, since, unlike the bloc, Russia has never transferred its military infrastructure to NATO. As reported by the RBC correspondent, this was reported by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

He stated this in response to the statement by the director of the German Foreign Intelligence Service, Bruno Karl, that Russia could attack NATO as early as 2030.

"Russia with its military infrastructure has never moved towards NATO. There has always been a process going in the opposite direction. We all know in detail all the waves of NATO expansion and all the stages of NATO military infrastructure approaching the borders of Russia. There is a clear understanding of who poses a danger to whom. Therefore, to say that it is the Russian army that poses a danger to someone here is absolutely wrong, illogical and, most importantly, contradicts the entire historical process," Peskov emphasized.

At the same time, he noted that Russia will continue to ensure its own security and take all necessary measures to do so.
